Privacy Policy

Toolinix is built to be simple and privacy-friendly. We don’t require accounts and we avoid collecting unnecessary data.

No accounts

Toolinix does not require registration, user profiles, or passwords.

Local when practical

Many tools process input directly in the browser without needing a server request.

Server-side lookups

Network and domain tools may send the queried domain, URL, or IP to our server so the lookup can be performed.

Ads and analytics by consent

Non-essential cookies and personalized advertising depend on consent where required.

How tool processing works

Toolinix contains both browser-only utilities and diagnostic lookup tools. The privacy behavior depends on what the tool must do to produce a useful result.

Browser-only tools

Formatters, encoders, generators, text tools, and many converters are designed to process input locally in your browser.

Server-assisted lookups

DNS, WHOIS, SSL, redirect, and similar diagnostics may send the submitted domain, URL, or IP to our server or public endpoints.

User responsibility

Avoid pasting production secrets, private keys, real customer records, or sensitive credentials into any online tool.

Data we may collect
  • Basic server logs (IP address, user-agent, request path) for security and debugging.
  • Anonymous usage metrics only if analytics is enabled, kept minimal.
Third-party services

If we use third-party services (analytics, hosting, error tracking), we choose privacy-respecting providers and keep configuration minimal.

Your choices
  • You can use Toolinix without creating an account.
  • You can reject non-essential cookies in the cookie banner.
  • You can avoid pasting sensitive production secrets into online tools.
  • You can contact us with privacy questions or correction requests.
Data we do NOT collect
  • We don’t collect names, emails, or passwords because we don’t have user accounts.
  • We don’t sell personal data.
Tool inputs

Text you paste into tools (JSON/Base64/etc.) is processed to produce results. We don’t aim to store tool inputs; any temporary processing should be short-lived.

Sensitive data guidance

Do not paste production secrets, private keys, passwords, access tokens, confidential customer data, or regulated data unless you have reviewed the tool behavior and your own security requirements.

Cookies

We may use essential cookies for language preference and security. When Google AdSense or other Google advertising services are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to serve ads, measure performance, and help personalize ads where permitted by law. Third parties may place and read cookies in your browser as a result of ad serving on this site. Learn more at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Retention

Operational logs, if collected, are retained only as long as necessary for security and reliability, then deleted.
